The National Coalition for Literacy applauds TIME Magazine for its selection of Tracie D. Hall as a member of the TIME 100 Most Influential People of the Year for 2023.

Tracie Hall has worked to strengthen public libraries and promote broad access to books and literacy throughout her career, culminating in her position as Executive Director of the American Library Association, a valued member of the NCL and one of its founding organizations. She is a key member of the Coordinating Council of the ALL IN collective impact network and a powerful voice for adult education and access to literacy skills for all.
