Program Directories
The resources listed here provide links to adult education and family literacy programs for adult learners and volunteer tutors. These programs provide the foundational skills that adults and youth need in order to pursue further education and career opportunities; ensure physical, social-emotional, and financial well-being for themselves and their families; and participate fully in community life.
The National Literacy Directory provides basic information and locations for adult education and family literacy programs throughout the United States. It is searchable by zip code or by city and state, and includes listings for Early Childhood, Family Literacy, High School Equivalency/Adult Basic Education, English Language Learning, and Citizenship Classes.
The directory is provided and maintained by a partnership of the National Center for Families Learning, ProLiteracy, and the Dollar General Literacy Foundation.
