ALL IN: The Adult Literacy & Learning Impact Network
The National Coalition for Literacy is a founding member of ALL IN, a collective impact network composed of national thought leaders from the adult literacy field and beyond. Through ALL IN, the leading national organizations engaged in adult literacy have joined forces to uplift each other’s efforts and develop new initiatives that will move the field forward.
ALL IN envisions the United States as a country where every adult can easily access high-quality, effective support for development of reading, writing, digital, and numeracy skills – regardless of who or where they are. To make this vision a reality, ALL IN seeks to implement the five priority actions of the National Action Plan for Adult Literacy:
1. Engage adult learners as movement leaders
2. Raise awareness and advocate for change
3. Expand outcomes-based research
4. Support adult literacy instructors
5. Invest in innovation while scaling proven approaches
ALL IN’s work is guided by the ALL IN Coordinating Council (CoCo), of which NCL is a member. On the CoCo, NCL focuses mainly on the second priority, raise awareness and advocate for change.
